Theory
Pakistan, China and India are all determined on getting the Kashmir region, nobody is giving in and this resulted in a conflict that has been going on for 64 years. But what is the theory behind it?
The real problem of the Kashmir Conflict is China having a permanent member in the UN security council. Because China has permanent members in the UN security council, the UN is not able to come with resolutions for the Kashmir Conflict because China resists to cooperate.
Furthermore China is cooperating with Pakistan. This cooperation includes military strategic and trade of delegate information it also provides an advantage for both countries, China having a transporting option and Pakistan having an economic boom. This makes Pakistan and China interdependent which puts India behind in the Kashmir conflict. This can cause India to have cognition bias because they feel left behind and they might have the idea they need more military power, especially after Pakistan started with Nuclear testing.
All countries show realist ideas by making war and having a high regard for the values of national security of the state. China has sovereignty and has the fastest growing economy in the world. This would endanger both India and Pakistan but China only wants the Aksai Chin region and not the rest which causes rest again.
During peace negotiations all countries have different ideas and a large self-interest and after every bad negotiation rivalry comes up again and results in fighting.
All states see each other as competition instead of allies, this makes the situation even more complicated since China and Pakistan do work together at some point.
